We are taking part in a ”Wheelie Big Challenge” to try to reduce the rubbish that each class throws out daily. Cathy Gorman from Eco-schools came to speak to the new eco-committee today. She helped us audit the rubbish from five different classes. We were all shocked to see how much food gets thrown out. Almost 50% of the rubbish was food waste! The eco-committee have lots of great ideas about how we might reduce this.
